Dear Friend,
The world we live in today is full of so many beautiful and diverse cultures, languages, people, etc. The earth around us is full life, vibrant colors and sounds. Yet in the midst of so much beauty and richness of diversity there is much pain and we are not without tragedy.
The Heartbeat for Worship Celebration is a yearly event that currently consists of a Christian Multi-Cultural Concert that incorporates several different musical styles from all over the globe using mainly world/ethnic percussion. Guest musicians from all over the nation, large screens projecting colorful images both scenic and abstract, dancers, and special stage lighting are all incorporated to evoke passion and inspiration to all those in attendance. It is not just one type of person who needs encouragement, and inspiration, but all types of people, from all walks of life. It is our goal and desire to introduce people to the love of Jesus Christ and the peace that he so willingly offers, inspire worship leaders and all believers alike, and bring exposure to various different cultures and worship styles. The difference in cultures, nationalities, and ethnicities add to the richness of our local communities and the world at large. This is the central theme to the Heartbeat for Worship. Creativity in music and culture is a strategy given to us to affect the community for change by introducing the peace, joy, and salvation of Jesus Christ, breaking down racial/cultural barriers, and stimulating creativity in this generation.
This strategy however can not be successful without the help and assistance of our sponsors and those who so willingly give of their time, and energy. This is why I am inviting you to help make this year’s celebration a success. We have been greatly blessed and this year’s event has already grown much more than the previous year, and we are expecting a large turnout. The concert/celebration will be held in the Sea Brook Auditorium at Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Some of the guest musicians that will be performing this year are Lou Santiago Jr., who is currently the drummer for Jeff Deyo (founding member and lead singer with Sonic Flood), Luis Conte (international percussionist, producer, studio, classical, and film score musician), Living Anthem (Christian worship band and recording artists from Bremen, Georgia), and string accompaniment by the Fayetteville Symphony. There will also be a host of other great musicians filled with the spirit of God, including the help of several different churches, and prayer for the nations. The Heartbeat For Worship 2008 event was endorsed by the Overcoming Church Ministries inc, AC Man Heating and Air, Malachi Group Financial, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, and Edible Arrangements.
Your contribution is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us to organize and achieve our goals and desires to impact our community, nation, and world this year. There are so many in need of encouragement, peace, passion, and inspiration.
Our Silver sponsors with a contribution of $200.00 are listed on the event program and receive 10 free tickets to the event. Our Gold sponsors with a contribution of $500.00 are listed on the event program, acknowledged prior to the start of the event and receive 15 free tickets.
